Clairsentience is a term that defines the range of senses that are used when you get that gut feeling. The gut feeling comes from within all of our bodies combined; the physical, spiritual, mental and emotional bodies. You have a clairsentience sense of who the Spirit is, what they smell like what they like to do, more or less a “gut feeling” about them.

Clairsentience may give you a sense of how they passed, maybe even feel their symptoms or the pain and suffering they had just before they passed. You may sense their emotional and mental state at that time as well as their physical well-being. You will also sense on what they are up to now in the spirit world.

Clairsentience may also be a certain smells that come with the Spirits that have passed over. For instance, my father smoked, and every time he would come around, I would get a whiff of the cigarettes he smoked.
